We chose to replicate the “_O Table Lamp” by French designer Henri Bursztyn.

Our objective was to recreate the lamp as precisely as possible, emphasizing quality and attention to detail. To achieve this, we conducted in-depth research on its manufacturing process, examining the materials, binding techniques, and construction methods used in the original design. Working within the constraints of our university workshop, we explored the most effective approach to replicating its circular form using available machinery and materials. The process involved crafting and refining cardboard prototypes, ultimately leading to a polished final recreation.
